A very peaceful poem from Aaron
THE PEACEFUL MOOR.
Walking on the peaceful moor my troubles go away, like wispy clouds evaporate into a sunny day,
Its beauty and tranquility so splendid I can see, amazingly it "don't cost nowt",a treat that's fully free,
Green pastures like a patchwork quilt sewn into the ground, and if I stand here quietly I cannot hear a sound,
save for a skylark and a sheep, who looks at me and bleats.
Oh how I love this peaceful moor though seasons make it change, the sun so warm, the snow so cold, the autumn gales which make trees fold,
No old folk licking ice cream,no naughty kids who shout and scream,
Just nature with her best dress on,plants and flowers growing strong,
The peaceful moor,a wonderous place, please leave me here,I have found my space.
